Rukma Anil is a post graduate with a Masters in English with Communication studies. She has worked at AzimPremji Foundation as a resource person in English , focusing on Action Research, Perspectives and Pedagogy in English Teaching Practices.

Literature and Culture
Performed a Pilot survey of documents available in Madaras as across TamilNadu (Madurai, Keezhakkarai, Kayalpattinam) which is now being archived under the EAP project led by the French Institute.
Submitted a research proposal to the India Arts Foundation for documenting the devotional songs of Islamic fakirs who belong to the mendicant order. On the basis of this work, a Ph.D. proposal and fellowship is to be prepared.
