Bio
Shibi Nandan is a doctoral student at the Pondicherry University and a research affiliate at the French Institute, Pondicherry. He has a special interest on the Kaveri delta, its socio-cultural and political aspects. He has done field visits in the region to understand the prevalent labour climate related problems. He is also currently working in the Social History of Mathematics project under Dr. Senthil Babu of IFP in writing the history of manipulation and the role of mathematics in it in medieval South India.
