Prabha is a doctoral scholar in the Department of Electronic Media and Mass Communication at Pondicherry University. He loves to travel and meet people of different culture and document them through text and visuals. He is inclined in academic research associated with people and their movements.
Research
Political Communication:
Prabha is writing his doctoral thesis on “Print and Publics in Changing Political Landscape”. He took Tamilnadu as political landscape and print journalism as a window to study this.
Political economy of Moving waters:
He is currently interested in understanding the socio-political issues in ‘framing the problems’ of the Deltaic people, especially the laborers of the Cauvery Delta. He will be doing fieldwork in the Cauvery delta districts and writing reports and stories on various issues with labour-crop-water as foci.
