Bio

She started her educational career as a Biotechnologist and pursued her M.Phil in Botany in 2014. Her M.Phil research topic was- Varietal screening of Cowpea against elevated Ultraviolet B- Stress an In-situ and In-vitro approach. She has two years of experience in the teaching field as a Biology teacher for Higher Secondary level. Her domain skills include Stress physiology, UV-B induced Changes, Molecular Biology and recombinant DNA technology – DNA isolation, SDS-PAGE, Restriction Digestion, PCR, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis, Western blotting etc. Bioinformatics – Softwares such as EMBOSS, RasMol, Chimera, BLAST, PHYLO. Micropropagation- Anther culture, Embryo culture, Callus culture.
